How can I access the data logger remotely?

SITE-LOG, iLOG series data loggers only have USB and Serial Ports used to connect to a PC through cables. To access them via Ethernet remotely you can use DSP-2C Site USB Device Server Pro or SMART-HUB hardware devices. Let’s call them a ‘USB Device Server’.

  1. Connect the data logger to USB Device Server’s USB port.
  2. Connect the USB Device Server to your Ethernet network.
  3. Launch SiteView, on the left-hand side there is “USB Server” tab, click “Search” button to search the USB Device Server. Once it was found it will be added to the list.
  4. Double click on the new added entry, the connected logger(s) will show under the entry.
  5. Double click on the logger icon to show the status window.
